EndlessSims3 I've split your post into its own thread because the other thread was a few years old.
When you saved the lot, did you also click Export? It's a separate button when you click the lot in Edit Town. Merely saving it to your in-game bin doesn't export it.
If you did click Export, and it appeared to save, please try to export a different lot and see whether it works. You don't need to upload it; just look for the file in Exports.

oh guess I will have to see that part that did not see that. Where is export? can you show picture where that is located? ty
EndlessSims3 Open Edit Town, and place the lot you want to share if it's not already placed. Click the lot and select Share. I would suggest sharing the lot without the sims living in it, if that's a question. Once you share the lot, there should be a corresponding file in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Exports, and you should see it in the Uploads section of the launcher. You can upload it to the Exchange from there.
