Thank you both for the replies. I have had a little luck with my game and have been able to play for a couple of hours at a time. For now, I'm working on just creating 1 person families and building them up by playing the game (And finding pre-created Sims in the world to connect them with). Its not the best way of doing it, but seeing as I don't know much about computer programs (And not wanting to make a mistake within the system), I'm going to stick to this method for now. If anyone has anymore luck it would be amazing to hear from you. But for now, best of luck playing the Sims :D
I'm a bit unsure if you tried the factory reset. Someone else had a similar issue and that help them.

Otherwise, I think it might have something to do with your graphic chip.
