how do I do that- install without pets?! so sad I can't use it, but I my game keeps crashing too!
At first it wouldn't stop freezing, I fixed that and then it wouldn't stop crashing- I noticed the pets were a common problem too ☹️
@smallfry0270 You can simply go into the Sims 3 Packs folder and delete the folder labeled EP05. That's the Pets folder.
If you haven't already though, please test in Sunset Valley or Twinbrook, with no mods or custom content added, just to make sure that Pets really is the issue.
I too am joining this group of people whose games struggle to work. I'm very sorry for this, with my game it just shuts down out of nowhere with no warning beforehand such as lag. It shuts down when I start the game, go to the map, move between sims and even just when nothing important is happening. I have turned my settings down, got rid of horses, turned into window mode (which I am struggling to turn back to fullscreen mode). I can add my deviceconfig if you would like to see it, thankyou for taking time out of your day to help me and everyone else.
