I bought The Sims 3 and play it through the EA app. When I installed it and play for the first time, everything worked fine. But the next time I tried to play, I received an error message saying I couldn’t play any of the worlds. The error message states that a serious error occurred while loading the world, and it recommends that I close the game. The only option is to click "OK." After that, it returns to the world selection screen. I have uninstalled both The Sims 3 and the EA app, but the issue persists. The game works the first time I play, but when I close it and try to play again, the same error message appears. Has anyone found a solution to this?
aifolos That sounds like permissions are broken, to some extent, on the main account. I have some suggestions here, in a Sims 4 thread for a different error, that deal with permissions:

Anchors aren't working on this site yet, so ctrl-F and search for restore , and jump down to "Move or restore location of Documents." Even if you've moved it out of OneDrive, you can try moving it to yet another new location to try to get around the issue. The takeown command may also be useful here, and a virus scan would be prudent, just to be on the safe side.
