Me and friend Pepper tested this, She sent me a sim loaded with CC. And EVERYTHING the sim was wearing minus the cc hair as it was package form went into my game. SO YES CC does go thro if its a simspack CC
But is the simpack file designed to overright default meshes or is it designed with it's own meshes. Which we did say when this first started out that it was going to be bugged and cc was going to be able to get through. I did ask that if the cc files had the same file names as the defaults would they still pass through simport. My understanding is the simpack files still hold game files in a pack so if those files have the same save names as default ones they probably will still bypass to simport. Just like they do for the exchange now. The exchange does not 100 percent block cc and i said that before. I am really curious about it because like to learn about stuff like that.
So i am not saying cc is not getting through, however i am thinking those simpack files are meant as default cc and that's why they aren't being caught before going into a players pc. The other content that are not default are being changed. Had they allowed us to ask these kinds of question they probably could have found away to bypass this and stop cc totally. Though the only way i can think of that is to stop cc content in game totally. I think EA doesn't want to do that. Though I'm not a dev, i really don't know how to stop it. Maybe they can create the program to scan and see if the files have been altered in some way. I don't even know if that's really possible. It sounds more of complicated fix than what it's worth. I think they're best bet is to make sure the clean up system works better and after the sim is done with the show and arrives back at the original player the game deletes the copied save.
