Custom Sim passed to me through Simport!

So how do we get the patch? Will it just automatically come up when we open our launcher? Or is it something we have to come on here and download? When was the patch put into place? I installed my game last night and I don't know if I have the patch that fixes this CC issue or not.

Thank you for clearing that up. So the Sim is installed in our games for the duration of the Simporting ?

Forgive me, I didn't read all 18 pages...I was led here because I posted elsewhere that I just had a baby born with patches of dark skin, half of his chest and entire left arm and his right arm. The parents of the baby were the original couple I started my game with last week...they are both white and all of their other children were white. But this baby has patched skin. half white, half black.

Now here's a little background...I hadn't played my game in 2 years because of too many glitches with W/A. So, I downloaded Ambitions, Late Night and Pets last week and removed all CC before loading them into my game. Started a new game, in the new pets town with a sim I created from scratch. Game played fine...then I began downloading custom hairs from known sites...game still played fine... wasn't until I downloaded a few sims from here (the exchange) that I found female clothing in male sections and now this baby problem. At the time I downloaded, some of the dl's were from different countries and so I didn't know if that would be an issue or not...

But... I downloaded 3 sims from 1 person in particular (they were celebrities like Brad Pitt and Edward Cullen and Bella Swan).. and then I downloaded a couple other celebs from other people at the exchange. I customized half of these sims and already put them into the neighborhood and began interacting with them.. is there a way to find out which sim is the problem and remove it or just remove the bogus files like the lace up boots for men with the broken ankle that I never downloaded? or the women's jeans in the men's section...

Oh wait a minute... I also downloaded some custom crap yesterday from inseminator I think...that could also have caused it. So... does anyone know if the baby will grow up normally or should I delete the baby?

Wait until the baby is a toddler and edit in CAS :)

P.S. Every Sim I've had come in through Simport has been stripped of CC. And screen shots of my Sims in other game show them in the default career outfits, even though I usually play with colors and patterns on secondary career sets for my performer sims.

It is caused by bad CC clothing like the Night and day boots. Check the thread under tech forum and check Crinricts blog that is stickied there. Otherwise all your sims kids baby, toddler, and child age born in the game with this bad CC will be a problem. Also deleting sims in game will corrupt your game, so that is never a solution.

Ok I am just making sure before I send my sim to others. She has cc all over the place, this won't do harm to anyone elses game play? I would be sad if that happened.

I have been working with the techs from EA for months. I have CC in my game that I realized was bad so I deleted it all. Not realizing that some of the CC or custom content still remains in 2 or my Simport WORLDS. Sunlit Tides and Riverview!

This caused a huge game issue and was correted to some degree. We will soon see with the next SEASONS game update if I must repeat the same exhusting game changes, removal and reLOADING! Ugh.

There is a horse mane that keeps attaching itself to horse Sims3Packs even when the horse is not wearing it. It is an Arabian horse mane, its a .package file & if a horse is wearing it, it makes the whole horse look really weird.

hi there, is this the user who created that pinkish cute little foal head halter??? sorry to contact you this way but for some reason I cant post on the forum. if so I wanted to ask how you customized your horse accessories like that. on my pet pack its only letting me customize the preloaded saddles and bridles etc. and being a rider I want accessories and tack that are much more realistic. ive seen people create bridles with bits, western and English etc and want to know how they did it. thanks!!!
