If I remember correctly, the ebc file is content downloaded from the Sims 3 store, so you can leave it there. The store content will create it to work properly.
Yes, i'm aware that this is a file with store content. But, why has it never shown up until recently, why is it freezing my game? If I remove it I can play until it shows up again. Now it's coming back all the time and within 15 minutes of game play. That's all I can play my game anymore because of this file freezing the game. I need to know what specific purpose this file has and how I fix any corrupt content that might be in it which is causing the game to freeze. Considering it's the last ".ebc" flle in the list and most recent, it only has "96 bytes" of content in it. Which is really small compared to the other prior .ebc files in DCCache. The others have not caused a problem. Only this last file "dbdbt.ebc". I've deleted this file five times now and it has yet to be corrected by Store Content. So, that leads me to believe it has corrupt Store Content. I've tried using Custard but, Custard will only scan the first .ebc file in the list under "DCCache". Thanks for your input.
