My Sims 3 Account is not syncing with my registered games

Hello,

I am having a synchronization issue with The Sims 3 Store. My EA account successfully shows that I own and have registered "The Sims 3 Base Game", "Ambitions", and "Supernatural" on my community profile page (username: soolvidela).

However, whenever I try to download any item from The Sims 3 Store, the website throws a pop-up error saying "Please register your game to access full site features".

Since the games are already registered to my account, I cannot re-enter the product keys (it says they are already used). Could you please manually sync my EA App entitlements/licenses with The Sims 3 Store database so the store recognizes my games?

Thank you!

    Hey soolvidela

Just to confirm, does the Sims 3 base game appear as owned under My Page

Unfortunately, we don't have the tools to review account information or support product keys here on the forums, so please reach out to our live support team to have them look into what might be going on.

Let us know how it goes, thanks!

What is going on with the 're-registration' messages? There's been one for everyone triggered when they visit since it started, for the base game, Movie Stuff and now a day or so ago for Katy Perry Sweet Treats, which I don't have but I'm seeing notifications about friends who do.

    Is it a data breach?

I'm noticing that the Base Game and Movie Stuff, which are the first two that everyone is getting a message and announcement in their My Page about it being successfully registered even more than a decade after already being, just so happen to be the most top-left of the group of game-types in the left panel column of the My Page owned games. Katy Perry happens to be the most left of the third row of the owned stuff packs. I was anticipating that in that pattern people would start getting a notice about Midnight Hollow in the owned worlds section of that sidebar.

    Hey DivinylsFan

No, the message you're seeing on your activity wall isn't the sign of a data breach. Thanks for reaching out to confirm, since I can see how it might be concerning out of the blue.

The message was sent to everyone, not just me. Not only did it appear as a notification of activity on our walls, but was also sent as a message to our private inboxes there, for each the base game, and Movie Stuff and a little later people with Katy Perry's Sweet Treats, which isn't many.

I know that it was everyone because it was also mentioned by people on the 'what happened in your game today' thread, by graceymanors and BylineBelife who included a screenshot of the inbox message, and then the shared blog notification about the registration of those same packs appeared on my wall regarding multiple other people on my friends' list. I'm guessing it will appear for each person as they log in again since it started.

So if its not a data breach then it would be nice to know what it is, because although there's been what appears to be a sitewide event, there wasn't any explanation in any official post, and normally there is.
