Editted: Apparently this isn't how to add a screen shot since the link was disabled. ☹️

so i would say that you have the old way for the mods the new way is the way to go lemme see what i can find and pm you again
edit to fix waht to what lol
☹️
I thought I was using the new way.
it is a slight possiabilty that a file/folder is in the wrong spot
Ok, I've gone through the old way/ new way and mine was set up correctly.
I just deleted everything out of my DCcache and restarted my pc - the red X is gone.
I'm going to try restarting my launcher a couple more times and start my game a couple times to make sure it's gone.
*crossing my fingers*
fingers crossed here too 🙂
It seems to be running correctly. I put the ebc (EA store) files back in my DCcache and restarted my launcher and all worked correctly.
I left the dbc file out and am manually reinstalling the 3rd party content a few at a time and rechecking my launcher occasionally. So far it seems good.
I'll keep you posted.
please do...looks like you got it beat 🙂
. . . . . . . . . Nope!
The red X is back.
WTH???
>☹️
did the red x happen after the last reinstalls of the cc
I fell asleep and I restarted my pc after I woke up. The launcher started right up, I hopped online to post to you and when I clicked back over the X was there.
I have again deleted the .dbc file from DCcache and the X is again gone.
The only 3rd party CC I installed via the launcher is hair colors from Anubis, a pair of earrings and several hairs from Newsea. The hair colors I've had forever so it has to be either the earrings or one of the hairs.
