Spycoo16 Can you drag the baked goods into your sim's inventory, and from there into the display rack?
I'm also wondering whether NRaas Cupcake would help here. I don't use the mod because I don't own the Store set, so I'm not familiar with the bugs/glitches it might fix. But it's easy to try, and to remove if it turns out it doesn't help or comes with unwanted features.
