I'm trying to add Riverview to my game but I'm having problems. I am using Google Chrome on a PC. The green "add to game" option doesn't come up on the page. Instead there is a blue "download" button. When I select this, a download appears in the Sims 3 game launcher and immediately stops. The status says the game cannot be downloaded at this time. I'm wondering if maybe it's a problem with my antivirus software interfering. Hope you can help!

sometimes it's the browser try switching your browser to IE or firefox
is your game up to date patch wise ? did you get an error message and to the see the log for details ?
I'm not sure if it's up-to-date. On the game launcher, it says "your game is up to date" but it also keeps saying it's unable to connect to EA download manager and won't allow me to log in on the game launcher (it just opens up a new window to the Sims 3 website).
I also tried to download the Late Night expansion pack through Origin (which I had previously purchased and used on a different computer), but when I ask it to install it says I need to update my copy of the Sims 3.
This indicates that my game is not actually up-to-date, but I don't know how to update it if the launcher won't hook up to my account.
you might need to download the superpatcher save the file then install the patch i'll post this in the helpers corner too for further assistance as for not connecting to the dowload manager could be a number of things for example your firwall/antivirus could be blocking it,orign is not installed on the computer ,orign could be out of date or the proxy in the tools-internet options-connections could need to be unticked
if your launcer is upto date then you'll see 1.67 and some other numbers i'll post this in the helpers corner too for further assistance
