DynamicBookworm Where is the game installed, according to the EA App? You can see the location under Sims 3 > Manage > View properties.
I am reinstalling the game for the third time now. Install location is C:\Program File\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop\The Sims 3. I included a screenshot.
