@muffinsnbuttons The EA App doesn't have all basic functions yet, nor does it have all of the content that's available through Origin. I own all Sims 3 packs but one, and yet last I checked, the App still prompted me to buy them. So I'm not sure this is fixable, at least not at this point in the App's development.
However, it may be possible to sign into Origin and download Late Night and High-End Loft Stuff even though Origin won't recognize your EA Play subscription. At least, it's been reported that this worked for a different but similarly affected game:
If that doesn't help you, then I'm sorry, I don't think there's anything you can do other than wait, unless of course you want to buy a standalone copy of Sims 3. During a couple of recent sales, the starter pack has been priced at $10 U.S. rather than its normal $20.
