Sometimes on Windows 11, you'll get error code 16 while trying to save your Sims 3 game. The only workaround is going into map view and letting the game run unpaused for a few seconds, then saving. Another workaround is setting TS3.exe and TS3W.exe files to Windows 8 compatibility mode. Is there a possibility that this will be fixed?
@acidlureUnfortunately, the map way doesn’t work for me. All I do is I try again and it works tho!
Update: The map way still won’t work and I think I have come to a point in my game where I cannot save anymore! ☹️ I think it’s to do with the size but honestly it isn’t that big. What can I do?
Update 2: after about half an hour of trying to save it worked! I closed any other programs open, for example: opera, discord, steam, etc. I also recommend doing that when saving! I don’t know why it works (I have 16gb ram) but it might be something to do with ram.
