livdarling00 Is your Sims 3 user folder still in the OneDrive folder? Simply unlinking OneDrive doesn't necessarily move the location of the Documents directory, which is where Sims 3 will try to put the user folder. To check, right-click the folder and select Properties > General, then look at the Location.
Let me know either way, and we can go from there.
Mine is doing the same thing, when checked it says the location is the one drive
