Re: The Sims 3 Mac Error Downloading Content

First, I've googled the heck out of this issue, I've tried everything suggesting in the EA forums and from Reddit and blogs (linked from the forums), including replacing the ccmerged.package, renaming the Sims 3 file to spawn a fresh one on launch, uninstallling the whole game and deleting the file in Documents and reinstalling it, rebooting the computer, repairing the game - NOTHING WORKS.

I need more help, please, I just want to download my worlds and play in them.
