[FAQ] Current Patch - 1.67 - Manual links and more

PLEASE TAKE OUT YOUR MODS BEFORE UPDATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    Make sure to backup the folder in documents\electronicarts\thesims3 to a safe place. That's all your user data like your download...

I'm having trouble downloading from  the Launcher. I always get the message "Update Error: Invalid file found" I took down my firewall to see if that was a problem, but it still gave me the same message. I'm not sure what is going on, and I'm a little scared to download the manual links in case it'll screw up everything. (not very tech savvy)

    Also use the 1.3 GB super patch linked on the fist page.
