[FAQ] Current Patch - 1.67 - Manual links and more

PLEASE TAKE OUT YOUR MODS BEFORE UPDATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    Make sure to backup the folder in documents\electronicarts\thesims3 to a safe place. That's all your user data like your download...

Just installed the 1.55 patch, but now the game hangs every time I try to run it - just a black screen with no messages.

Is there going to be a patch to correct this patch - or is it a case of having to re-install the game (again)

Could someone tell the EA developers about this great idea - test new patches BEFORE releasing them.
