PLEASE TAKE OUT YOUR MODS BEFORE UPDATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    Make sure to backup the folder in documents\electronicarts\thesims3 to a safe place. That's all your user data like your download...

I have problems with updating to patch 1.55... When I click on 'update' it is almost ready when my install shield wizard says I don't have a version of The Sims 3, but I do. And I have all the expansions. I tried to install the super patch but I get the same error...
