Ugh! That latest game patch has been the ban of my existence these last 4 days! I haven't played in months. I reinstall the base game, go to update, update game, the update finishes. I click on the sims 3 icon, and I get "Unknown Error Occurred".
I've tried using the Origins app on my desktop and it gives me the same error. I've tried the super patch update and same error. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. I've tried seeing if it was only base game and installed my Ambitions Expansion pack. Nothing. I've run disk utility and that didn't help either.
I've also downloaded the super patch and it did the same exact thing. Also opening Origins app and doing it doesn't help either. It also gives me "Unknow Error Occurred".
I wish I could install the prior patch update from September, maybe that'll fix the bug I've encountered. Other than that, I'm stuck not being able to play any game.
And yes I've talked to TWO EA customer service reps about this and I'm not getting any help. They don't seem to have any answers themselves.
