I know nothing about computer systems but as I read comments, most players have same issues and rather lately. I've got the impression that this is not a system requirement problem but a game problem. I don't say that every lag is caused by game issues but most of the comments has gotten the same problems as I have and occurred time after playing normally. I hope EA people don't expect every player to try to solve this kind of problem by themselves. We all bought the original game looking for something to entertain with, not something to deal with.
