I have been having this issue since they started Origin and have yet to get an answer on how this issue can be resolved whether on FAQ or on the phone with a representative. I did the resetsim and I am still having the lag. I saw posted that you are not even sure if the developers look at this page crinrict, so how do we get the developers to fix this issue for us dedicated sim players? I started playing sims again after getting so annoyed with the lag a couple of years ago and only started playing again because I received the supernatural as a christmas gift to just be disappointed again by the same problem, lag. I am really having a hard time understanding why no one has bothered to fix or have a resolution that works for everyone. Is there anything that you can do to get the developers to resolve this issue for all of us once a for all?

totally disappointed and disillusioned with EA
I downloaded Seasons and the lag started immediately. I had never had an issue until then. This doesn't seem to be about hardware compatibility, but simple programming and game engine issues. I tried many of the "fixes" shown at the beginning of this thread to no avail. Hopefully EA will fix these soon as I've completely stopped playing the Sims and probably won't ever buy another Sims game.
