None of these issues seem to address my problem so I am going to post this here in hope of finding a solution. I start the game up and there is no lag or anything, everything is completely responsive. I go through Sim Creation and I go to the personality options. Then the game just completely freezes and lags out. The music continues to play but nothing is responsive other than the mouse cursor. I recently bought the game and multipe expansions and have had this problem since then (around christmas). I have tried turning down all the graphics, gone to windowed mode, dropped the resolution as low as I could and even run it in compatibility mode and the same thing happens each and every time without fail as soon as I select the Personality option. My computer exceeds the requirements to play the game as well. Anyone have a solution?
