Ah, I see what you mean, now.
But if someone is troubleshooting, they need to find all the things I mentioned and other things, as well, that can lead to the stuttering, lagging, freezing. So, when someone is saying their game lags/freezes/stutters and we speak of what lagged/froze/stuttered their game, we generally refer to the initial causes which need to be removed or fixed, rather than the actual definition of lag.
Ultimately, lag is anytime your computer cannot keep up with the information/data overload. I can, for instance, create a lag type 2 in my game by running it constantly on the highest speed for somewhere between one and two real-life hours. (I wouldn't recommend doing that, however. LOL)
As far as the tree fruit, I don't think that will generate any errors without the tree being installed. Logically, it is the same as a piece of wedding cake. Without the cake, no one will ever get a piece. I saw it, but didn't want to risk losing LL, in the process. Let me know if it uninstalls and still leaves the world in place, if you do delete it.
