NO clue what you mean by that. For me, actives follow the rule you described, inactives don't ever have pics.
Oh, okay. I didn't know how that worked or if it was the game messing up.
Basically, most of my automatic memories look like they were taken from the same perspective as The Sims 1. Up about 3/4 the way and angled, which would make most squares look like diamonds. Now that I know how Memories work as far as their pictures go, I won't think anything of those automatic pictures then.
ANYWAY... Here's my current observations today.
- Chatting on the computer doesn't appear to increase social relationships with the person you are talking to. If you talk to someone new via the computer, they don't show up in the relationship panel despite alerts when you discover new traits about them.
- There was an abandoned Bake Sale Table in the Sunset Valley Central Park when my Sim went there to meet people. There was no Child Sim present in the park; it was mostly teens and adults. Not sure what happened, but it's worth noting.
- I can confirm the "Instantly Finished Painting" graphical pop, as it happened on my end with a Still Life painting.
- Animated Textures (computer screens, digital photo frames w/ slide show set on, TVs) will be blank if you Alt+Tab/minimize the game. It's just a graphical bug, really, but one that should be reported just in case a player hears their TV running but it looks like it is turned off.
- Sims still won't do laundry properly. Mine continue to pick up the pile of clothes, walk towards the washer, stop, drop the pile of clothes, and then cancel the "Do Laundry" action. I had to command them to do it a second time in order for them to actually put the clothes in the washer.
