I played for about 8 hours before I had any glitches... then right after my sim child's doll turned into an imaginary friend I had massive glitches. The dad would be working on a sculpture then *poof* he was on the other side of the house looking confused. The mother would be in bed then *poof* she was outside by the mailbox. The child would be at the table doing her homework and then *poof* she would be in her bedroom. By *poof* I mean the same sound that the doll does when it goes from doll to imaginary friend. I would send them back to what they were doing and it would do it again and again and again. I continued to play them the best that I could, sent the child off to boarding school but she left, taking a ride in the limo to a building in town where she sat for hours (still controllable by me) then she traveled back home wearing a weird cap on her head and went to stand in her bedroom where she then became uncontrollable, untargetable and nonexistant. Her icon on the side that you choose to control was a blank orange square, none of the other sims could target her, and she couldn't be "deleted" to remove her. Then the mom and dad went to sleep (tried to ignore all of this and continue) but when they woke, all 3 icons to control (mom, dad, and kid) were gone. I was stuck on the dad, the kid was gone completely and she ceased to even exist in the game at all. I thought to myself, how on earth do I get the option to control them again? I decided maybe moving them to another house... bad idea. They left the house, went to their new lot, but I couldn't even build the house because they got completely stuck in the moving mode. They stand on the lot - nothing queued for them to do, but I can't go into build or buy modes because it says you cannot do that during a move. (thinking somehow it thinks kid - that no longer exists - is moving and hasn't arrived) - so to sum it all up... I started all over in another town. I am wondering if it is Riverview that is messed up and maybe another town won't have the same bugs.
Like I said, I went 8+ hours without a single bug, then I got hit by massive ones.
