I didn't have time to read through the entire thread. So I do not know if this has been posted or not. I did read the first few pages and didn't see it.
There are no hotspots in any of my towns for saves created before installing generations. I have sims read the paper several times a day. There are never any hotspots listed. I tested this in 4 different towns ( Bridgeport, Sunset Valley, Riverview, and B.B.). Yes each town does have several bars and clubs. Each town had hotspots before installing Generations.
If I start up a new town and have a sim read the paper, there are hotspots showing up.
So this rather sucks for sims who have the wish to visit 10 hotspots.
edit to add: I forgot to mention, this is happening in a vanilla ( no mods or CC game ).
