( alot of the the houses had their front door set inside the house! (example the house where the collins live and the adobe abode)In a lot of the houses, the toilets were in front of the showers/baths, so they were unroutable. (the houseboat where rubisel ichtaca lives)I also put some rocks where al the npc's got stuck near the premium port.It took me about 3 reallife days! (am not a great builder), but in my modfree new game there is hardly any lag anymore. I really do want to know what spirits the designer of that house was on ;) I want that! OK: small update:Still running smooth.I found that placing small trees from IP right on the spot Simmies get stuck near the ports seems to stop Simmies getting stuck there. For decor I placed some small rocks around the base of the trees/bushes.I added some family houses to make sure there's enough room for everyone. Then I found out the front door options were gone :shock: Seems that option is only available in an unplayed town.Still testing on this one.Happy simming everyone!

Hardly any lag: rebuilt ALL the houses in IP! worked for 14 of us so far ;) 2 negative

Maybe you can help me!

I have no problems at all with sims getting stuck, but my game lags A LOT!
I would really rather not restart everything so here's what Ive tried:
- Deleting the Scott family
- Destroying the Los Amigos house
- Destroying the Medina's house
- Destroying the castle
- discoverAllunchartedislands Cheat

And I don't really want to go in and fix everything by hand, that's WAY too much work. This is getting very frustrating to the point where I almost want to give up. I've had this expansion for a while and I haven't played on it much because of this issue, which really sucks 'cause if it didn't have this issue it might very well have been my favorite expansion.

Hi, I did what was suggested here, I deleted both houses and put the families in two different houses after, my game has so far been playing very lag free. I still have not been able to play for a long period at the time, so I will have to say later if it still Works, but so far very promising :)

I think I had the problems pinned down to these 3 ports:
premium, pretty and pleasant.
Isolved the first two by using plants and rock to block the little bit of beach where sims would get stuck.
Pleasant I put a NVA boat: no visitors no lag.

So far my games are still running great.

I've got two games in IP now: one in week 60 and one in week 42 and they are both still nearly laggless. Every now and then a horse gets stuck on my dutch canalboat coffeeshop, but I guess that's got something to do with a public lot on a boat. Sims will get stuck in the unseasonal park ( in between the seasons it's empty for a day or so), there's a problem with a bench there. I managed to build on the seasonal lots once... but I'm still afraid to mess them up. So the bench stays where it is...

Again, thanks for the help and ideas everyone!

Very good ideas, thank you :D ! I always delete Rubisel`s houseboat, but perhaps I can keep it now. But anyways I don`t understand why EA can`t fix such obvious mistakes in a patch ...

Geeze you can tell they rushed to get this expansion pack out with all the stupid building mistakes the houses and house boats have. I'll have to go through and do the same.
