@MelaninBree Please repair the game in the EA App, if that's how you installed it: open your game library, click Sims 3, and select Manage > Repair. If you ran the Alder Lake patch previously, use the PowerShell script or the Task Manager method instead, at least for now; both are referenced here:
If repairing doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

@puzzlezaddict Hello I did that last night, I also did the direct x9 method and now whenever I start the game the error doesn't pop up. Sim3 will launch but it opens up to a black screen and it crashes. Down below is my dxdiag.

@MelaninBree I need a full dxdiag, saved as a text file, not just a screenshot of the first page. There's a "Save all information" button at the bottom.
