omyssz8fi2ep First of all, please repair the game, if you haven't already, to undo the changes you made to the .sgr files. It's always best to start with a fresh set of files when the previous edit didn't work.
Please also go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3, open DeviceConfig, copy the first 40 or so lines (stop at Options), and paste them into a reply here. You can delete your user and computer names, about 20 lines down, if you want; the file doesn't contain any other personal information.
