Help With Create A World

ymbcdriqlpzh​  The fire station lot type comes with Ambitions, so no, it wouldn't be available without Ambitions present.  The objects that make a fire station usable only come with the pack as well.

ymbcdriqlpzh​  The hospital and school are base game.  I don't know anything about an ambulance, but if it's custom content, it should work... unless it's based on the firetruck (like a reskin), in which case it wouldn't work without Ambitions installed.

ymbcdriqlpzh​  You need to install the world through the launcher.  The exported file should be in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Exports, and you can place it in Downloads inside the same Sims 3 folder.  It'll show up in the launcher's Downloads tab, where you can install it.

Where is the export file at?

ymbcdriqlpzh​  Again, if you export a file, it should be in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Exports.  Move it to Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Downloads so you can install it through the launcher.

If you can't find the exported file, search your computer for the world name.

I tried the game with no fire station but a fire did start though but a small fire truck came then a fire fighter came and put out the fire out but when he was done he couldn't leave the house for some reason?.,.

ymbcdriqlpzh​  It's normal for NPC firefighters to show up when your active lot has a fire.  That's part of the base game.  What is not part of the base game is the firefighter career or anything that goes with it: the fire station lot type, the buyable firetruck, the alarm, etc.

For the firefighter that can't leave, hover over him to get his name, then open the cheats console (ctrl-shift-C) and enter resetsim firstname lastname , with the sim's actual first and last names.

then how come sunset valley had its own fire station then?…
