Household keeps error code 16ing even though there's only two sims

Been a while since I last played so I wanted to make a new game and mess around for a bit with gardening and world adventures. Everything went well I made my sims, a married couple, and got into game...

    Hi apologies for a bad update; I was struggling with working out how to do that and eventually got so frustrated I decided to hell with it and uninstalled my game. I'll probably reinstall at some point and see if it works now but it just got too much for me to deal with the constant disappointment on top of real life problems. I thank you for all your help though, you've been great with this.

Hi I'm so sorry for the long wait but things came up preventing me from actually opening the game and I have bad news; I tried that but I continue to get error code 16, I had a test household with 4 sims and while things where ok at first but then the error returned once again. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

@transonlyocean  Were you ever able to save, and if so, how many times did you save before the Error 16 showed up again?  If you use "save as" and rename the save instead, do you still get the error?

    I was able to save twice before error 16 appeared, all within a few minutes. I was able to do it until about 30 minutes had passed of playing the game. Save as and renaming the save doesn't change it and I continue to get the error.

      @transonlyocean  I've seen it mentioned elsewhere that disabling OneDrive helped, even when OneDrive wasn't syncing anything.  So please try that.

        I can't try that as I do not have onedrive installed.
