I can't run Sims 3 game launcher or game

i tried to load the sims 3 on a new pc, but it installed fine but wouldnt open the game launcher.  i tried deleting it then re-installing. still nothing.  ive tried deleting it off the old pc (no i dont know why) which it worked fine on. still didnt work.  so i tried reinstalling on old pc, and now it wont work on that one either. ive also tried downloading and installing on my mac, whic would support it, but also wont work.  could my game be corrupt on origin? because the game is not working on any platform, regardless of specifications, although i know it should.  

im stumped on how to get it working. i preferably want it on the mac.
