I am not a Sims expert, but I am pretty sure you cannot play Sims 3 without a disc! If you had Sims 4, you could, because it doesn't require the disc. But Sims 3 disc is required. ☹️

if you registered your disk version of the game/s then in origin your entitled to a digital download and disk versions of the game work with origin digital downloads so they can be mixed
