I'm unable to open Sims 3
Hello!! Just bought a new PC (Windows 11) and downloaded the EA app, Sims 3, and my packs. I don't have any mods or CC. When I get to the sims 3 game launcher and hit play, I'm re-routed to the EA app and am unable to start the game. I've spoken to three different customer support agents but to no avail, so I'm coming here as a last resort.
Here's what I've tried so far (of which I remember):
- Checked the .NEW framework
- Ran the game and EA app as an admin
- Disabled onedrive
- verified game files
- uninstalled and reinstalled the EA app, base game, and packs
- "repaired" the game through the EA app
- cleared the game cache
Is anyone else running into this problem and/or have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
