I didn't mention fun because its advertising is 0. And as it doesn't cancel out other commodity types listed in this file you can still attract Sims if you play in a Park, LN/ITF Bar or anywhere in Oasis Landing (unless you're in the Bot Emporium).
Have you even tried to play in a park for a few hours? Others did and they were successful. And are you sure the no fun advertising is not intended? Why should they copy the Watch Guitar ITUN and change fun to 0 by mistake? The laser harp is a future instrument and it would loose that feel if there were gatherings on any lot (inactives may play on this instrument) other than parks or bars.
