Is this possible to do?

I was wondering if it was possible to get this badge as I am trying to get all badges for The Sims 3. I understand if this isn't allowed but as a 100% games type of guy I ask if I can get this badge by becoming a moderator for a few minutes to simply unlock it. Thank you in advance

  • Morgyn_Ember  The badge can be completed, but the requirements are more strict than the description suggests.  The "head of household" and grandparent to the progeny needs to be female, and since you can't always tell which sim the game considers the head (usually the oldest but not always), you might need to kill off or at least move out any other elderly sims.

It's also been widely reported that the grandmother needs to have another child after the 30th grandchild to make the badge trigger; that was the case for me as well.  I used the game's adoption service, and had already killed off the husband, not intending to save after either step, since I'd already met the listed requirements without getting the badge.

  • Morgyn_Ember  Sorry for the late reply, but no, it's not possible.  The "moderator" position and badge refer to not the last Sims forum but the previous one, the one that was under the same umbrella as the Store and Exchange.  There are no volunteer moderators on this site, and even if there were, the rank wouldn't trigger the badge on the old Sims 3 site.

That's alright. I've also had many issues with unlocking the badge to have 30 grand children. I've done it 5 times on different saves and it just won't unlock, is it bugged or is there a certain way to unlock it?
