Missing Studio Content
Recently I was looking for an older build in my studio when I noticed that it was absent, along with many other uploads. Most of them were older builds, however some were within the last 2 years. I know what I have deleted. I had some computer problems where I had to completely re-install and so I uploaded them as safeguards. I have 2 now, one with store content and the other without, but that is another story I won't go into. 🤬The team on Cape Albacore remembers this, I am sure. lol. Has anyone else noticed this has happened to them? I am sure this is recent; I would guess within the last 3 months as I often poke around in my studio seeing what I can improve or to Dl to my other system.Solved78Views0likes7CommentsNeed Room for Rotational Play in Sunset Valley
I realize that not many people play the Sims 3 rotationally. At least, not many people document that type of gameplay online the way they do for the Sims 2, but I'm planning quite a big undertaking in my own personal game. I have added several families (including plans for new businesses / community lots) to Sunset Valley and plan to play them all in rotation Sims 2 style using NRAAS and other mods. However, I need room for the extra families and the expansion of descendants over time, and unfortunately there's no option to add more space via subhoods like there is in Sims 2. All that to say, does anyone have ideas / techniques (probably using create a world to modify the map I guess?) to expand Sunset Valley with more residential lots in a way that feels organic and keeps most of the premade houses intact? P.S. ~ I know it might sound like if I like Sims 2 style rotational play then I would be better off playing that game, but I love so many things about the Sims 3 like the traits, customization, and open world detail, so I feel like I could better tell my sims' stories the way I want in that game, even if it takes some tweaking to get it working the way I need it to.We need a 64bit version of Sims 3 on Windows as well. Not just Mac.
I'm going, to be frank... it's going to be really disheartening if the Sims team doesn't release an updated version that works properly on windows meanwhile apple users get a version that actually works. I don't want to have to make a virtual machine, buy a cheap used mac, configure a Hackintosh, and enjoy an old title. Nor is this something I should have to do. Currently on my machine it at 20FPS and freezes constantly with a 3990X threadripper, 128GB of ram, and a 2080TI. (Downloaded tools and even changed graphicrules and other files.
