Island Paradise Bug Thread

EDIT: Someone on tumblr said it was error trap. removed it and I'm all good now.
Is anyone else having their sims and houseboats vanish? I made a new sim and save in isla paradiso for this pack. After properly installing and starting up the game all was going well at first. Tore down the old house on the barge and put up a new one, decorating, yada yada yada. Then when I went to play the game and raise her skills then poof, she and the house boat vanished to the far side of the world (aka now un routable as a result). When I teleport her she'll reappear but after a sim hour or two she goes back to the house boat via error trap. I've tried again and again but it keeps happening each time I start up. It's really frustrating since for me the house boats were half the appeal of the pack. :( Any idea why it might be doing this?
1. Are you using any Custom Content or mods. Yes but removing the mods and custom content did NOTHING to alleviate the problem.
Mods: Nraas, townies on the town, Attentive bartender, Ask Single/Sign friendly, No weather stone tag, Take shower-brush-relieve faster, Consort grow, and a lighting mod.
2. Do you have Island Paradise or just the Patch ? Both
3. Which Patch Level are you at ? 1.55
4. Did you start a new game or are you playing an existing ones ? New
5. Did you transfer an existing Sim over or are they new/Pre-Made ? Brand new
6. What town are you currently playing ? EA or Custom ? Isla Paradiso
7. What is your Operating System (Mac, XP, Vista, Win 7) ? 7
8. Do you have the download or DVD Version of the game ? DVD
9. Are you reporting for the Uni-World, Home-World or WA-World ? Home
