I tried snorkeling on another game and it worked, so I figured it was just that Sim and got rid of her. I have another issue though where my Sims sometimes randomly turn to formal. None of my Sims have the proper or insane trait :(.
EDIT: One of my child Sims got out of school and it was raining, he changed to formal then got on the bus, as it was about to leave he got off then had to run home :?.
