Was it a "stock" nightclub that went in?
Suggestion to everyone, uninstall Late Night. That one Expansion Pack is a major problem. Then try playing the base game and whatever else you have.
World Adventures is another one that is problematic. Both had bad reviews for being bug-filled, and still seem to be that way.
Question for everyone: Those who have had multiple invisible sims with thought clouds, are you running late night?
I have NOT had that (multiple invisible sims), just my own family disappearing, and I do NOT have Late Night. Or World Adventures. I only have the base game and Ambitions.
There was a nightclub that I had made and placed on that lot. I never had issues prior with that lot and I've been using my own made nightclub for ages in SV.
But what did seem to start this mass spawning to the lot was my active Sim received a career opportunity at the nightclub. She only had one hour to pass out fliers, she didn't make it in time! The opportunity shut down when her working hours ended but sims from the town kept spawning to this lot. I attempted to continue my game for several sim days hoping they'd resolve themselves or she could continue the opportunity but nope, no go. Endless spawning of sims, cars, etc... A big mess! Even deleting the club didn't work, they spawned on the blank lot instead.
I am running LN and in fact my game issues started with the LN patch. I too am sick of uninstalling and reinstalling my games. It doesn't solve this issue either. I think dumping Sims 3 in the trash can might solve the problem though. ROFL So I'm asking EA to address this issue before I resort to chucking out this game! They can clearly see LN was the last item I added to this game and it's my plan to not add anything else unless I see this issue addressed.
