Pets expansion pack not showing in game

Hello,

I've purchased the expansion pack more than 10 years ago physically with code in the box and I had it connected to my account. I downloaded all my expansions and even though it shows installed everywhere, it's not showing neither in the launcher nor in game. It's also present on the hard drive. I've tried every solution provided by chat assistance on EA page but nothing seems to work. Do y'all have any ideas?

    Hey myszolin​, 

    It sounds like you've already reached out to support, which is great! They should be able to look into the account with you to see if there are any entitlement issues preventing the Pets EP from appearing in-game or in the launcher. 

    If you haven't already, please try clearing the cache on the EA App by following the steps on this page. Doing so will help sync entitlements, which have been a common cause for similar issues in the past.

    I have the same issue, but with High-end Loft Stuff. The game is installed, but not showing in the launcher. I also contacted EA via the chat, and none of their suggestions solved the problem. Clearing cache does not work, unfortunately

    Hey Duckyduck2014​, 

    If you've already tried clearing the cache and the mismatch still exists, please try the following troubleshooting steps: 

    1. Check the folder where your base game is installed (usually C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 3\) for the separate subfolders representing each pack.
    2. Look for the High-End Loft Stuff pack to confirm it was actually installed.
      If the pack shows as "Installed" in the EA app but doesn't have a corresponding subfolder, it wasn't fully installed. 
    3. If High-End Loft Stuff isn't in that folder, or if it's there but still missing from the launcher, uninstall the pack, restart the EA app, and reinstall it.
    4. Launch the game to see if it appears.
