So that's now several people who found that Overwatch fixes the problems. I'm not sure I'm ready to use a mod... but for those who have no problem with using mods it might be useful if you'd try with just Overwatch installed and see if it fixes these problems consistently for more players.
Is it possible that all these glitches are really being caused just by excess cars in the neighbourhood? If so then surely EA can patch this fairly easily?
Hi: I don't know all that Overwatch does, besides delete cars. I do "clean up" all the cars (and car spaces) on community lots and residential lots of in-game Sims I don't play, as well as any cars in inventory when I start a new game.
I haven't had any lag and the game itself doesn't freeze.
What I get are Sims that freeze then go invisible about ten Sim weeks into the game ever since LateNight or the update that preceded it. It doesn't seem to matter if they are at home, coming out of a rabbithole or from work. I have had them freeze while sitting reading a book or having a conversation. I must admit
I always thought it was something to do with the Sim I was playing and have never gone into Map view to see if this sudden freeze was caused by other Sims being stuck somewhere.
Before LateNight/update my game played perfectly. (I have never had CC or mods).
While I appreciate all that Crinrict and Twallen (EA really should pay the man!)have done, I really do not want to start using mods that then have to be updated and might cause future problems.
