I still have an email sitting in my inbox from EA Customer Services from yesterday. I do not intend to give them my system information (again) as they have requested, because frankly it's just a waste of my time.
To my amusement, the email says that my video card might be OK but the glitches might be caused by something else (and I quote) "strange" on my computer! The only thing that's strange is that EA continue to blame an unknown "strange" component of my one single iMac for issues being experienced by players on all sorts of different systems.
However, I could take the opportunity to answer their email to state briefly the errors that have been uncovered so far by the experiments on this thread, such as the TestBrawlError.
The CS person claims that the information will be shared with the Sims development team. This may or may not be true, but it seems worth a try, seeing as it's as simple as sending a quick email.
However I'll wait a while longer before responding, in case there's anything else I should add.
Strange indeed. Hmph!
