@Turbine: I actually think that is a bug fixed. For me, when there was nothing else to fix in the house, the repairmen would just stand around until I fired him. Stuff would just get repaired. Did your repairman ever actually fix the item or would it just get fixed when he was in the house ?
I had problems with a stereo he never seemed to come around to fix, sometimes he would chart, but i never so him, or i might have to leave after waiting for him. But at the same time he lives next door, and is often outside his door when i call repairman, but i cant click on him.
I ended up buying a new stereo instead.
Same issue with my maid, he lives on my floor too. In the beginning he never arrived to clean the place, so i cancelled and rehired maids a few times. But now he comes everyday and works fine. -But he leaves hes apartment and the building to go to work, then come back to clean, and then leaves the building to come back home later :)
