@amakachao: That is actually what I usually recommend. Don't get the patches through the launcher if you plan on buying the Add-On. Always patch from the DVD. I usually do it this way myself (not this time for I had to try something).

I thought, what you meant was, that you canceled the update while you where patching from the DVD :lol:, so I was confused (since you should not be able to install the game without patching and thought that this could maybe be different on a mac.
