Note: I have Uploaded sims and Ones that are compatible e.g human and simbots,
is this affecting me only or is this server sided? I have loaded the site on different browsers and even on a old version of Firefox on a old iMac and even the uploaded avatars wouldn't load there either. The browser I mainly use on my main pc is brave browser if that helps which is also running a adblocker
TheFrenchPlumbot I loaded your page and see the same avatar you do, which is to say, your new one has not uploaded. It's possible there's a delay, but it's also possible the function is broken. If I see more reports, I'll merge them, and I'll ask around regardless.
In the interim, your studio only shows an object and some plumbots. Did you in fact upload a sim, that the Exchange lists as a sim, and try to set that as the avatar? If not, or if you did so but immediately tried a plumbot afterwards, please try a sim again, just to see whether it works if you give it some time.
If you can find any upload that the site accepts as an avatar, there's a trick to get the image you want: you replace the headshot in the Sims3Pack with the image you'd like to use. If you're interested (and can get the avatar to change at all) but don't know how to do this, just ask.
It also seems that the traits feature and and alot of store stuff is broken, most people now get there store content from third party sites like archives since the official store is completely bugged
the launcher is acting weird, I have tried using the sims 3 website and launcher on a old 2012 iMac running Mac OS mountain lion and a old version of Firefox which was this game was originally built for but still on both system like my main pc and my 2012 iMac nothing from my launcher wants to upload anymore and the profile still isn’t showing uploaded avatars either

Replace the first image with whatever you want to use. You'll want to resize it so the site doesn't distort it. Anything square should be fine, although it might get blurry if it's too high-definition.
I'm pretty sure that for avatars, the site only accepts sims, as in, saved CAS template sims.
I heard you upload a normal sim then change that normal sims picture, I will change it to one of my plumbots, may give it a background too
