Mac: Login Errors through Sims 3 Launcher

I am not able to log in to my account through the Sims 3 launcher. 

Is this a new issue? 

I know that we still have no update on the download tab issue on the launcher, but I didn't know I couldn't log in to my account anymore either.

    Use your shift key to type the caps in your password. That's what worked for me! It still won't let me log in though, says my EA account isn't connected to the Sims 3 Community 😭
