Missing shadows and a VERY bright snow
Hello!
I have some trouble with my Sims 3 game and I can't figure out how to solve it
For some reason all snow look like this (don't mind the darkened UI and everything, it's only like this on a screenshot). It kinda looks like all the shadows around are missing
My PC specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 7500F
AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT
32GB RAM DDR5
@h0lya That is... not a great look. It seems like Advanced Rendering might be disabled too, so please look for that in the graphics options. If you do need to reenable it, do so at the Main Menu, then quit to desktop before loading a save.

If that doesn't help, did you try to get your GPU recognized? If so, how is it rated? You can see in the first couple of lines of DeviceConfig.log, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3. Sometimes an edit can bork one of the .sgr files to the point that the in-game graphics are severely affected.
