My aging randomly stops, even though I haven't disabled aging!

So yesterday my aging was working fine - people aged up, NPC's aged up, everyone could age. But today, and most days BEFORE yesterday, my aging hasn't been working, and I have to use 'testingcheatsen...

I know this is a bug that happens to many but just to make sure: You didn't by accident turn off aging in the options panel ?

Lol I know that's a possibility, but it was the first thing I checked. When it stopped working, I went straight to my options panel and checked. But it's ok, because a game update fixed it. (:
